High Point Market, which takes place in the Spring and Fall, is the pinnacle of trade shows to see what's up and coming in the furniture end of the business. Attached is a great article outlining the top trends seen at the recent fall show. Moving away from the austerity of modern farmhouse, there appears to be a trend toward more playful shapes and layers of texture. Watch for fluting, art deco inspired arches and pleats.
